Petar Alargić is a Serbian composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose work has developed across more than two decades of independent music-making.

Inspired by an early encounter with the music of Metallica, he began his musical path as a guitarist, becoming active in the extreme metal and alternative rock scenes of Belgrade and Novi Sad. During this period he performed and recorded with projects including Draconic and Azil 5, establishing the instrumental and compositional foundation for his later work.

In 2010, Alargić began a solo career, moving increasingly from performance toward composition, production and independent catalogue building. His work expanded beyond metal and rock into electronic music, ambient, classical and experimental forms, resulting in an extensive body of recordings released internationally through labels including Magnatune and ArtisTech Media.

His practice has never been confined to recorded music. Over the years he has contributed to projects involving film, photography, fashion and dance, exploring the relationship between sound and other forms of artistic expression. In 2015, he composed the original score for the feature documentary Troublemakers: The Story of Land Art, which went on to be screened at international film festivals.

The independent and DIY nature of his practice has allowed Alargić to maintain a high degree of creative autonomy while continually moving between contrasting musical approaches. Rather than placing the entire catalogue under a single stylistic identity, he has increasingly developed separate projects around specific sounds, methods and conceptual directions.

In 2023, this approach became more deliberate through a structural reorganization of the catalogue and the formation of multiple distinct project identities. These range from the visceral instrumental post-metal of Bleed You Fucking Skies to the abstract drone environments of Solarscapes, alongside further projects exploring other territories.

Today, Alargić works primarily as an experimental composer, producer and solo instrumental performer, continuing to develop new musical worlds while maintaining the independent, exploratory approach that has defined his work from the beginning.
